Since 2005, PATTIRO has actively contributed to encouraging gender responsive policies and budgets in the regions. PATTIRO has become a partner of the Ministry of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection (KPPPA) and the Regional Women’s Empowerment Agency in providing assistance to local governments in implementing Gender Responsive Planning and Budgeting (PPRG). PPRG is an effort to accelerate the implementation and application of Gender Mainstreaming (PUG) in development both at the central and regional levels. Gender responsive planning and budgeting are 2 (two) processes that are interrelated and integrated in overcoming gender gaps in access, participation, control and benefits from development results. The 2010-2014 RPJMN has established three strategies for mainstreaming national development, namely Good Governance, Sustainable Development, and Gender Mainstreaming. To make it easier for us to understand what PUG and PPRG are, as well as how to ensure the implementation of PPRG in the regions, PATTIRO has prepared a leaflet about Accelerating PUG through the Implementation of PPRG in the Regions, using very simple language and flow. To get the leaflet, you can download it below.
