Guidelines for Compiling a List of Public Information (DIP)

Meeting the need for information has become an integral part of human rights. This awareness underlies the Government to stipulate Law Number 14 of 2008 concerning Public Information Disclosure (hereinafter referred to as the KIP Law).

In the KIP Law, the aspects of management, service, application, and dispute resolution of public information are regulated. This arrangement spans the sides of public agencies, communities, and information commissions.

For public bodies, as parties that own, produce, manage, and publish the information they control, it is important to have a good public information management and service system. This is related to the obligation of public bodies to provide and serve requests for information quickly, on time, at low cost, and in a simple way. One of the efforts to fulfill the public agency's obligations is to provide a list of information in the form of a Public Information List (DIP).
