In recent years, the implementation of gender responsive planning and budgeting (PPRG) policies has strengthened the implementation of gender mainstreaming strategies (PUG) in regional development. There are variations in progress between regions in implementing PPRG policies to support gender justice and equality.
The experience of implementing the PPRG policy in the Province of Central Java, the Province of the Special Region of Yogyakarta, the Province of West Sulawesi and other regions is extracted in this Policy Brief Series-2. Extraction from the Experience of Implementing PPRG Policies in the Regions is secondary data and strengthening arguments for proposing options for changing PPRG policies in the regions as stated in the Policy Brief Series-1: Policy Options to Accelerate PPRG Implementation in the Regions.
