Residents are filling out an Information Request Form at the Dompu Regency PPID

On Wednesday, September 12 2013, the Wawonduru Village Posyandu Cadre Forum requested information from the Information Management and Documentation Officer (PPID) in Dompu Regency, NTB. This request for information was a follow-up to a community discussion held the day before in the Wawonduru Village Office Hall. Requests for information were made on behalf of Juwairiah, by requesting the following information:

  1. Information on mechanisms or implementation instructions and technical guidelines (Juklak-Juknis) for the Slum Housing Program, 2012-2013. According to residents, the evaluation indicators for obtaining assistance for slum houses are still unclear, and the difference in funds received is also a separate problem, so that the badly damaged houses were unable to be repaired in 2012.
  2. Information about the Juklak-Juknis for free health programs, especially those concerning services to Jamkesmas and Jakat card users. Recognition of the community, they have difficulty getting health services because the card owned by the community is considered no longer valid.
  3. Information about funds for the Supplementary Feeding activity at the Posyandu in Wawonduru Village, which has not been running for the last two months.
  4. Information about training programs for Posyandu cadres, knowledge on how to fill in data, and how to attract attention/invite mothers to always be present at Posyandu services.
  5. Information about the elderly Posyandu, because according to the experience of other villages, the elderly Posyandu is in every Posyandu, but in the village of Wawonduru the elderly have never received services at the Posyandu.
  6. Information about Independent Student Assistance (BSM) at SD No. 08 Woja. According to local residents, the provision of BSM depends on closeness to the school principal, and the amount received by students is also very small on the grounds that it is cut for school needs..

The information obtained will later be used as material for analysis to compare program policies with the reality on the ground, so residents can provide input for better service.

The information request letter was received by Drs.Nasran as the Head of Information. Mrs. Juwairiah was directed to fill out the form provided by PPID. Mrs. Juwairiah received a letter of receipt from Mr. Nasran, and explained that she would ask the PPID SKPD for the required information. Mrs. Juwairiah will come again 10 working days after the request for information was recorded, to ask questions about the information requested.

Previously, requests for information were also made by people in West Lombok. Tuesday, 10 September 2013, residents of the Villages of Bagik Polak, Gelogor and Lalede accessed information from the Regency PPID. The information accessed is quite varied, including the following:

  1. DPA Health Office for community nutrition improvement program 2012-2013. Will be used for budget analysis and advocacy.
  2. Information on PKH beneficiary data, budget allocations and operational guidelines. There are PKH beneficiaries whose categories are complete but the value of the assistance is small.
  3. Information from the DPA of the PU service for the procurement of rural clean water infrastructure facilities. In the village of Bagik Polak, clean water is scarce. According to residents, they have to buy water.
  4. Information on the list of recipients of jamkesmas/jamkesda at the Health Office. The number of residents who cannot afford to be enrolled in jamkesmas/jamkesda. This data will later be analyzed to check whether there are double deaths, which will later be allocated to residents who really can’t afford it.
  5. Information on the house renovation program and its budget allocation for 2012-2013 along with its operational guidelines. The beneficiaries of this program do not know the amount of house renovation assistance and until now in the villages of Kuripan Induk and Sigerongan there are still remaining budgets for house renovations that have not been completed. Even though the program was rolled out a year ago.
  6. Information on the drug procurement program budget at the Puskesmas/Health Office in 2012-2013. This information is wanted to be accessed because of the limited types of drugs provided by Posyandu.
  7. Information on BOS and BSM operational guidelines and their budget allocations for 2012-2013, data on BSM beneficiaries in West Lombok, elementary and junior high schools. Many parents of students do not know the amount of BOS and BSM funds. Based on the acknowledgment of BSM beneficiary residents, some were not on target, because schools also did not update data.
  8. Information reports on the use of BOS funds at SMP 1 Labuapi, SDN 1 Labuapi, SDN 3 Bagik Polak, SDN 2 Bagik Polak. The rise of levies at schools related to seat fees, wall-offs and other levies on student guardians.
  9. Elderly posyandu program information. In Bagik Polak Village, there is one hamlet, namely Karang Bucu Hamlet, which does not receive Posyandu services for the elderly, even though the number of elderly people reaches 150 people.
  10. Information on the duties and functions of the BPD and the village head. The fact is that there are often disputes between the roles of BPD and Kepdes in Lalede Village.
