The NTB Provincial Information Commission gave awards to a number of public bodies belonging to the government, private sector and individuals who were considered to have played an active role in encouraging public information disclosure.
The award was handed over by Deputy Governor of NTB H Muhammad Amin, yesterday evening (2/11/2013). Present at the event was Chairman of the Central Information Commission Abdulhamid Dipopramono.
According to the Head of KI NTB, Agus Marta Hariyadi, the evaluation and assessment of the public body was carried out from 9 July to 3 October 2013.
The Sumbawa Regency Government won the best title for the category of information that must be provided and announced periodically through the website. Sumbawa won 90.63, followed by Bima Regency with 87.50. West Lombok 68.75, West Sumbawa 62.50 and Mataram City 57.50.
While the categories that must be available at any time through visits and interviews, the best title was won by Bima Regency with a score of 24, followed by West Sumbawa with a score of 22, Dompu 21, Sumbawa 20 and North Lombok 16.
Specifically for SKPD within the scope of the NTB Provincial Government, the category of information that must be provided and announced periodically through the website, the best rating was obtained by the Food Security Agency, followed by Dikpora, Dishubkominfo, Service for Food Crops Agriculture and Horticulture and the Bureau of Finance.
Meanwhile, in the category of information that must be available at any time through visits and interviews, the best title went to Distamben, followed by Dikpora, NTB General Hospital, Food Security Agency and Cooperation and Natural Resources Bureau.
The category of institution or organization was won by Somasi NTB. And the category of individuals fighting for the right to public information is given to Musabah, a resident of Sigerongan Village, West Lombok.
The Deputy Governor hopes that the award will further improve the performance and service of all public bodies in NTB. “The West Nusa Tenggara provincial government officials, especially those mandated as information managers, are expected to be able to implement the spirit of accountability in every government administration activity,” he said.
