PATTIRO JEKA Holds Workshop in Jeneponto Regent’s Office Hall

DSCN06641JENEPONTO – Central Institute for Information and Regional Studies of Jeneponto Regency (PATTIRO JEKA) held a workshop which was opened by the Regent of Jeneponto Drs. Iksan Iskandar.Msi in the hall of the Jeneponto Regent’s Office on Thursday, August 6 2015.

The event with the theme “Introductory Workshop on Strengthening Citizens in Realizing Transparent and Accountable Village Financial Management” was attended by around 300 representatives from Muspida SKPD, Village Heads, Subdistrict Heads and NGOs.

Also present were Ahmad Rofik, a resource person from Jakarta, who is also the initiator of the Village Law, Head of the Jeneponto Regency Inspectorate Service, Yusuf Paqihi, and head of the BPMPD office, Muh Jafar.

Meanwhile, Jeneponto Regent Iksan Iskandar said at the opening of this workshop that he really appreciated PATIRO JEKA for holding this activity to jointly monitor the performance of village heads in managing the Village Fund Budget (ADD).

“I am very grateful to PATIRO JEKA for establishing this activity. I hope and don’t want to know that a village head will go to prison because a village head misused ADD funds,” said Iksan.

Director of PATIRO Jeneponto Regency, Suryani Hajar, said that this workshop activity was held to introduce an accountable village budget management program. “The aim of this activity is that we (PATIRO JEKA) will accompany the Village, so that the village is more transparent and strengthens the community to jointly monitor the management of Village ADD funds,” he concluded.
