Jakarta-Tuesday, 16 April 2019. Located at the ASN Commission Office located at SME Tower lt. 14, Jl. Gen. Gatot Subroto The ASN Commission held three events simultaneously, namely, the Inauguration of the ASN Commission’s Media Center, the Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the ASN Commission and PATTIRO regarding Monitoring Violations of the Code of Ethics, Code of Conduct, and ASN Neutrality, and a Press Conference regarding the Results of ASN Neutrality Monitoring in the 2019 Elections. PATTIRO did. The event was attended by the Chair of the ASN Commission, Sofian Effendi and KASN Commissioners, Maya Rostanti as Director of PATTIRO, as well as colleagues from various media.
In the activity implementation report submitted by Nurhasni as Assistant Commissioner for Promotion and Advocacy, he said that with the inauguration of the ASN Commission Media Center, it is hoped that communication between the ASN Commission and media partners can be established easily. This Media Center will later become a Data and Information Center related to various activities carried out by the ASN Commission, for example the results of supervision that has been, is being and will be carried out by the ASN Commission. This Media Center is the result of collaboration between the ASN Commission and PATTIRO Indonesia. The inauguration of the Media Center was marked by a ribbon cutting ceremony carried out by Sofian Effendi as Chair of the ASN Commission.
The second event continued with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the ASN Commission and PATTIRO regarding Monitoring Violations of the Code of Ethics, Code of Conduct and Neutrality of ASN. Maya Rostanti said “In carrying out supervision of ASN neutrality, PATTIRO collaborates with local institutions in four cities, namely, Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya and Semarang and has trained community groups to participate in monitoring ASN neutrality.” In his speech, Sofian Effendi also emphasized that the collaboration between the ASN Commission and PATTIRO is expected to be able to develop Indonesia to be even better.
The third event was filled with a press conference and sharing regarding the results of ASN neutrality monitoring in the 2019 elections conducted by PATTIRO. Based on the results of monitoring located in four cities with ASN monitoring targets throughout Indonesia, it was found that violations of ASN neutrality were spread throughout Indonesia.
